FOURTH ELEMENT X-Core Women’s Vest

The Fourth Element X-Core Men’s Base Layer is a vest that, weight for weight, is the warmest undergarment Fourth Element have made to keep your core warm on colder or longer dives.  Keeping key organs in your core warm will keep the rest of your body warmer for longer without adding bulk or the need for electric heating coils.

No Batteries Needed

The X-Core is made to compliment and augment your existing undersuit without the need for heating elements or batteries, only your body heat and clever materials.  While some research suggests there may be adverse effects to your decompression with active heating systems the X-Core simply uses your body heat but holds onto it and reflects it back to you better than other fabrics.

Base Layer

The X-Core was made to be a baselayer, worn under an undersuit against your skin so it is soft and efficient at wicking moisture away from you.  All-way stretch fabric gives you a snug fit and moves with you without restricting your movement in any way thanks to the sleeveless design.  The vest is long too to cover most of your waist too for total coverage and no exposed parts when stretching.

OCEANPOSITIVE

X-CORE is the next stage of the development of Fourth Element’s OceanPositive concept to include more than just swimwear and rash guards.  To be truly OceanPositive, they have begun a journey of re-envisioning their company and products.  The X-CORE vest is made from 76% recycled post consumer plastic waste, yet its performance is not compromised in any way.  The fabric is BlueSign® certified (meaning that the manufacturing process meets the highest sustainability standards), and the dyes used are certified by Oeko-Tex®) as not containing any harmful substances.
