Don’t confuse the updated XTX range with the previous version which has the older faceplate and is offered by some retailers cheaper as a discontinued line. The new updated model comes with a 5th port upgrade, improved gas flow coupled with a completely updated 2nd stage manufactured with anti bacterial materials, reversible barrel that can feed left or right and protection against free flow. Of course the fine tuning charactaristics that the diver has still remain and just got better.
Many of customers ask what is the difference between the XTX 200 and the XTX 50 – the first stage on the XTX 200 is set up for the perfect single tank diving configuration, whilst the XTX50 first stage although great for that, lends it’s self very well to advanced diving configuration on twin sets or sidemount later down the line should you ever which to go there.
