Scuba Regulator Servicing | Dive Equipment Servicing | Cylinder Hydro
Dive Dive Dive is pleased to service all makes and brands of diving regulators and equipment in Brisbane and South East Queensland. Your regulators underwater are keeping you alive and it’s critical that they be serviced to maintain performance underwater.
Very often a problem will not be apparent until it’s too late. Free flowing regulators, leaks, burst hoses – these could all end very badly for the diver.
Most manufacturers recommend service every 100 dives, 100hours dive time or 12 months, whichever occurs first. It does vary, but check with your owners manual or manufacturers website as to when it needs to happen. If you’re an avid diver or professional you’ll probably want to consider it more frequently.
We service all major Australian sold recreational brands and most commercial specialist equipment including AGA, Drager and OTS.
All of our service work is carried out by us on site by service techs who are amongst the most experienced in the industry. In fact, we very often have to service other shops gear or give them advice.
Which regulators can we service ? It would probably be easier for us to name a small handful that we don’t! However, we support all major brands including (but certainly not limited to) –
Oceanic | Aeris | Atomics | Hollis | Aqualung | Apeks | US Divers | Mares | Scubapro | Poseidon | Dive Rite | TUSA | Cressi | Beauchat | Pro Blue
Frequently Asked Questions
We charge $77 per stage in labour plus the cost of the service kits. We’ll service your SPG and hoses for free when you drop in a regulator set to us. BCD prices vary due to number of dump valves and style of valve the BCD has. Please phone us for pricing.
We aim to get you back in the water as quickly as possible. For well-maintained gear that required no specialist replacement parts we will normally have them completed within 5 working days.
Sure – if you’re short on time or not based near us, simply send them in and we’ll take care of it. We’ll post them back to you all ready for your next dive.
What you are actually asking us to do is certify your regulator as not needing a service. We would have to take it apart to check the internal wear on serviceable items – so in short – no we can’t.
No. Our licence agreements with manufacturers prevent this. Also, we’ve seen regulators rebuilt by customers with parts incorrectly inserted, silicone poured into first stages to “stop that annoying whistling”, threads stripped, O rings missing and everything in between. In today’s blame culture I’m afraid we can’t expose ourselves to selling service kits to anyone. Additionally, several gear manufacturers insist that we do not as a part of the dealer agreement. So, sorry we can’t help.
